When a storied community bowling alley is about to go bankrupt, a lovably overzealous pastor convinces its curmudgeonly owner to run an interfaith bowling league to keep the lights on and give him purpose. But the two of them, along with the staff of Piqua Pins – which includes a bright but jaded teenager, a mysterious hippie cook and a wild-card freshman entrepreneur – must overcome their misconceptions about each other and people from all walks of life, in order to keep the lights on and form a true community that lasts.
